Pay for top ups with US credit card?

To continue with my previous questions can I pay for my son's top ups in with a US based credit card? I emailed and will call 7-11 tomorrow too and try to find out but my friend leaves tomorrow for Vancouver so I need to know soon. Thanks!!

It has to be a Canadian (non-Quebec) based card. My relative from California tried it up here before, and it didn't work.

Thank you! Oh dear. I guess I'll have to find a way to get someone in Canada to buy his vouchers. What a hassle. I guess they don't take paypal...

people on this forum is doing it for kind of free, if you trust them. they buy the voucher for you then you pay via Paypal and the give you the top up code.

Make sure you buy voucher before the end of September for bonus 25 dollars

Thanks. That's good to know. My friend is buying the voucher and sim card in Vancouver this weekend. I think $125 should last him a while!

Make sure you activate sim and airtime before sept. 30 to take avantage of 25 bonus

Is it still their policy not to accept US credit cards? I am going to Canada 1 day after my credit expires, next week. Will they grant a day's grace?

They still don't accept US credit cards, or even Quebec based credit cards. There is a minimum 7 day grace period if your account expires.

Quebec credit card doesn't work along with another two or three other provinces
But I just tried use my wife's credit card from oversea (non US) and it works well.sf-wink_gifsf-wink_gif
