I think it would be easier to check out links provided in the forum if, by clicking on them, a new page/tab will take you there, instead of having to go back and forward every time using your browser's arrows.

Do you mean links in people's posts? You can hold CTRL on your keyboard and then click a link, or just right-click on a link and click "Open in a new tab". Some people might prefer to have links open in the same window…

Yes, that's what I meant… I know how you can open them in another window… but today most links are opening in a different page and you don't expect to have to go back every time… anyway it's not so important.
