I love pay as you go speak out ..had pc before and it sucked with minutes expiring ..and contracts?? forget it!! telus will never get my money again or any other (PLAN) for that matter ..the amount of money you will save over a year is huge..so far my phone works almost everywhere ..I am 90 k north of ft macmurray alberta and it works fine .. I endorse it 100% ony yackaholics need phone plans soon they will offer surgical phone implants for those so inclined hehe heh!

I agree. Until a month or so back I did not know of Speakout and was surprised that unlike my current provider (Rogers), these guys offer one year expiry even on $25 airtime, even though they roam on the same Rogers network. The only thing that sux is the $1 a month 911 fee, which converts into $12 a year, so you will basically only get $13 of airtime per year on a $25 voucher.
But still much better than any plan. I do not understand why some people are willing to sign a 3 year contract and pay $30+ a month for a cell phone they only need for emergency use (I know one person like that).
