I am looking to buying this phone from a private sale. It was purchased via Rogers and can be used as prepaid. The phone was only used for 3 months as owner purchased another one. I would really like some feedback conerning the phone. I am only lookinv to call and use minimal reatures like voice command and message retreival etc. Not planning on downloading music etc. I have just purchased a noika 3555 and considering returning. Please and thank you shoud I get the samsung Sch-A516 instead?Asking price is 75.dollars. The nokia looks like it would easily break if dropped.

I don't know much about the Samsung Sgh-A516, but in my opinion $75 is a little pricey for a used basic phone, especially since it is locked and one that came out in 2007. Unless you REALLY REALLY REALLY want it. Do a google search and go through the reviews until you find some details concerning the features you want. Or try it out before you buy to make sure it works how you want it to.

Don't forget, if you return your Nokia to the store, you have to give back the sim, and you'll lose whatever airtime you've added to your account. Then you'll have to buy a new sim, most likely from someone on this site (don't know where else you'd get one). Add at least $30 or more for the cost of a SIM.

Here's one review of the phone, it may or may not include all the stuff you need.

I researched the samsung fairly well before posting as I am not cIt just el savvy. No extra cost incurred returning the petro-canada nokia as it is still in the box. I can use the sim from my 1208 andwill hopefully be good to go. I agree over the price and the seller has dropped it to 60.00. Seems a fair deal as it has minimal use and all re-packaged into the box.I will definately insert my sim and make sure it will work with SO. Thanks for the feedback.
