1) Unlocked phones
2) 365 day expiry
3) Affordable-20 cents a minute/5 cents text messages

Cons:
1) Limited phone selection
2) Cannot choose our own phone # easily
3) Charged for text messages received

Fantastic value for the occasional user. It's just not possible to get pay less than $30 a month for service with the big telco's, but if you just want a cellphone cuz it would be handy to have one, this is a great deal.

It's very possible to hold an entire year of service for only $25. That's inconceivable with the telco networks.
