I cannot believe the lack of activity here. I don't believe the number of customers are dropping so SO must be doing a good job for most of us. My latest SO discounted phone works well with one SO sim and one TMobile sim installed. :)

I was thinking the same thing. Many people have left SpeakOut though (including one of the moderators here). Many people just moved on to other providers (especially when it comes to data usage). I too have a T-Mobile sim when I travel to the USA.
SpeakOut is perfect for my needs. I will be with them for life. There is no better provider for me. :)

Never say "for life". Any cellular company that isn't getting a lot of complaints from its customers takes it as an opportunity to raise prices and cut service, as Speakout has done a few times (e.g., the increase in price for text messaging). Sooner or later the deal that attracted you will have changed beyond recognition.

How do you know they aren't getting lots of complaints? I know they were, after their data offering was not competitive enough, and people left because of it. The deal that attracted me was the 365 day expiry on top-ups. They are the lowest cost provider in Canada, and yes I will be with them for life if they continue to operate as such. I have had a cell phone since 1989, and they have been the best value for me.
