I've been using the speakout plan for the past few days and I'm loving it. I'm using a blackberry pearl that I had recovered from a JVM error. The girl who had it bought a new one on the spot, and gave this one to me. So, I went out to my local 7-eleven and got a Nokia 1661 (the cheapest phone they have at the moment). The first store didn't have it, but they understood exactly what I was talking about, and they knew about all the promotions. Same thing happened a total of 7 times before I finally found the phone. I'm very impressed that they knew about everything, and I don't think the stock issue was thir fault. I got talking to one of the store clerks, who said they only get a total of 5 of these phones, every second thursday. When I got it, there were no hang-ups at all. I got my phone with a $50 voucher, so that I got the discount of $20, which the clerk noticed immediately. I found this outsanding. I activated it with no problem at all, and activated the texting and browsing bundles. When I had a few (minor) errors with the browsing, which every BB user will experience when not on a blackberry data plan, I got help from crackberry forums, and surprisingly - SO customer service. I find thier customer service outstanding. They speak proper english, and they haven't been stumpped by anything yet. Not the referral codes, not setting up TCP settings in the blackberry (even though SO specifically states that they do not support non-So phones), not activating or anything.. Amazing. Also, I sold the phone within 2 hours of purchasing it.

So,
Blackberry Pearl 8110 = $0
Nokia 1661 = $60 - $20(promotion) = $40
$50 airtime = $50
Resold phone = - $20 from total

Grand total: $70
Yeah, I got a blackberry pearl + $50 airtime for $70.. not bad
Plus, the support is priceless. Thank you SO and this community.
