You can't. If it's a telus phone, it is not GSM therefore not compatible with the Rogers/Speakout GSM network.

My girlfriends Telus Bold 9000 is unlocked and running fine on Speakout. I was under the impression HSPA devices worked on speakout if they were unlocked?

if it accept SIM, it would work(after unlock). But Telus/Bell does have CDMA based blackberry I assume which would not work.

I had a 8320 that was unlocked. worked on rogers, fido, speakout as it's a gsm phone. Tried a Bell sim card in it from a 3G iPhone and it worked….sort of. Phone worked data did not. Newer phones like the BB Torch Bold 9900 and iPhones will work on all networks (once unlocked) regardless of who they are locked to originally because they run both HSDPA and GSM modes.
You can always unlock the phone (less than $10 online) then try it out to see. Check you phone out here http://www.gsmarena.com/blackb…..nes-36.php to see if it a GSM or HSDPA or both. If its both it will work if it is only HSDPA it won't.
