So as I understand it Speakout runs on the same network as Rogers, but Speakout users data runs through a proxy. So why does Speakouts data consistently outperform Rogers when using mobilespeedtest.com ? To make matters even worse, the rogers phone I'm testing is an iPhone 4G and the Speakout unit is a lowly 3GS. Speakout has won every single challenge, and not by a small margin either! So what gives?

iPhone 4 has the A4 @ approx. 1000mhz and the 3GS has a 600mhz chip.

Side by side comparison. iPhone 4 is faster than 3GS and the iPhone 4S (800mhz dual core A5) (not in video) is faster than the 4.

I find speakout is faster than rogers as well. My wife uses rogers and I use speakout. Maybe I'll do a video like these and post for comparison.
