Maybe this is a stupid question but here goes: can you actually remove the sim card on this phone? – it seems to permanently installed with a little metal strap. I'd like to try my old rogers phone with my SpeakOut sim card.

Just push down on it and slide it out. Some phones are easier than others on getting the sim card out.

O.K. that worked, thanks (it was kind of stuck).

And the speakout works fine in my old rogers samsung phone.
