Hi, I was wondering if the nokia X2 from fido would work with SO without needing to be unlocked
because a few people have bought LG gossips from fido and popped in a SO sim and it worked.

I do not have an answer for you on that one, but it seems that recent FIDO phones work for all SIM cards provisioned to run on the Rogers network. Only certain way to find out is to put the Speakout SIM card in the FIDO phone.
