I have an LG Simple Flip 230 (on Virgin) would like to switch to Speak Out – does anyone know if this phone could be used (I just bought it and seems a waste) I am in Victoria BC. Also is there any hope that Speak Out might start having calling in the US when you are visiting down there?

That phone is not compatible with SpeakOut. You must find a compatible phone, or buy a phone/sim card package in a 7-Eleven. SpeakOut does not currently offer roaming in the USA. The service is only good for use within Canada.
