I just got the Petro-Canada Mobility plan and got a Nokia 2760 phone. Is this phone unlocked? So say I move to the states, can I use it with AT&T and T-Mobile or in China with ChinaMobile ect?

This phone only supports the two North American GSM bands. In China you will need a phone that supports the other two GSM bands. See SIM card guide.

Ah good. Then off to ebay it goes! But just making sure (Will you believe me if I said I've never owned a cell phone before) in America it will support both AT&T and T-Mobile correct?

The Nokia 2760 sold by SO or PCM will work in North America with any other North American GSM carrier provided you have the appropriate SIM card and airtime credit.
