I am using HTC magic, and very interested in the unlimited data.

Ive not tried it, but can just about guarantee that the data rate is not sufficient enough to support an audio conversation. Speakout ULD is sufficient for web browsing, IM apps, and low data using apps, but forget about any kind of downloading or multimedia usage.

As said, you are not going to get an audio conversation through the data connection, but you can access the web interface, to make it call your cell phone or whatever phone you have set up on google voice. it ultimately works if set up right, but there is an awful lot of rigmarole involved.

Seems it is a good choice if I can use google voice to dial and forward to my cell phone.
Google mail, voice, map are the keys.
Thanks.

Did you ever get the SO data plan to work on your HTC Magic? If so can you tell me the parameters to enter?I have tried everything i can think of, though I'm not very knowledgable in this area, and never got the data plan to work. I am on the point of cancelling it.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
ajay
