Correct, on my train ride home, prior to 3G, I got 2G data for pretty much the entire trip excepting when we go through a golf course and a marsh area. I always had signal bars for the entire trip however. Now, as soon as we approach Danforth station I lose all signal and it doesn't return until we near Pickering.
I called customer service and she seemed fairly uninterested. Told me a tech guy would call me but I'm not holding my breath.

Good be a glitch. I use an unlocked T-mobile phone and never had a problem through those areas.

I'm downtown Toronto now and I can confirm that I haven't seen 3G signal on my phone since 2 weeks ago. Before that I would get 3G here in my office. My guess is that Rogers started disabling 3G from Speakout network since they introduced unlimited browsing. Remember, Speakout was never 3G network.

Yup, back in the 401/DVP area, 5 bars 3G where there was intermittent blackout and E only before. Although I got poor reception in the West end recently. Maintenance rollout I'm guessing.
