It's crippled by Rogers, just like other SpeakOut phones.

That is something I don't like.

When we buy a phone, we usually check its feature based on the model. I have re-read the speakout page which now I realize has no mentioning of IM(contrary to Roger's site or say Nokia's). So yes, they didn't mention IM but still call it C3 rather than C3-crippled.

It pretty good for just $10 a month for unlimited Internet. You can use IM, Email, facebook, twitter, Youtube and most of Google applications. evern send free SMS through Internet. Almost everthing related Internet. And you can use Skype through WiFi make a international call.

And if you go outside, you can connect you computer to Internet throught it. Unlimited, not like some company charge you $60 and give you just 1GB.

Compare iPhone, just no GPS and not touch screen(and you cannot compare it with $600 iPhone) .I always use it for Video teaching lessions and IM with my friends. And the battery is very strong. if you want use other language like me, you have to upgrade it with diffrent firmware include your language.

netyang, "evern send free SMS through Internet". Could you tell me how can I send free SMS through Internet?

If I buy a Nokia c3 $59.5 and air time $100 in Calgary and use it in Vancouver, Can I save $11.17 from tax ?(12%hst—5%gst= 7%)

I'm thinking to go Calgary and buy one .

Nokia Canada said they can not change language. But I find way change language to Simplified Chinese. I need a miniUSB . Anybody lived in Vancouver can lend me one?
