I sent a sms to an international number, and it costed me $1.25! I checked my balance before sending the text and checked it again right after sending it. It said it only costs 25cents for "outside of North America" text message (according to the website). Does anyone know what happened?

try calling 611 ! that sounds bad. did you send out a really long sms text message ? some carriers can only handle around 135 characters per sms message so if you wrote something long Rogers might split it into multiple text messages. in your case it might have split it into 5 to cost you $1.25 ?

My handset is Nokia 2610. My text was less than 100 characters. No way it got split.

It probably just happened that they deducted the 911 fee from your account. ( 99 cents )
