but you cannot misrepresent yourself

Or in this case, not represent yourself, i.e. your conflict-of-interest, at all.

ok...personally i think Presidents Choice mobile prepaid blows any other prepaid service out of the water...you can add unlimited texting for 10$ a month, and lots of other cool options like that for a straight sum. No contracts, and you can remove them at any time you like.

To each his own

The problems I had with President's Choice Mobile, is that top-ups only last 1-2 months. The network they use is Bell's network which is greatly inferior to Rogers, especially around southern Ontario, and especially in the small towns. And you are stuck with the phone you choose, you can't switch a sim card to a different phone like you can with GSM.

Also, the local calling area with PC Mobile is very limited. I am in Niagara Falls. Anywhere west to Windsor, north to Tobermory, and east to around Colborne, Ontario are all local calls for me.

But if you are happy with PC Mobile, that's all that matters.

I am VERY happy I chose Speak Out Wireless.

That's great if you do or use a lot of that feature. But if you don't then you have to pay the higher a la carte rates.

As usual, there's no one best solution for everyone. Do your homework and then go with the solutiuon that works best for you.

Pres Choice is the cheapest prepaid option that gives you unlimited web access ($5/mo) and roaming in the US (PetroCan and 7-11 do not have these features). The main downside, compared to PetroCan and 7-11 is the lack of a 365 expiry period.
