Great deal, best service! No problems.

After seeing this post I went to PC and picked up the Nokia flip phone and $50.00 card, total with taxes was 102ish

then came home and activated online with unlimited text and talk for 39.95 a month

worked a charm thank you so much

(not sure it is "truly" unlimited,)

Type: Monthly Plan
Service Bundle: Talk and Text Unlimited
Included Local Minutes: Unlimited
Remaining Local Minutes: 9971
Included Outgoing Texts: Unlimited
Remaining Outgoing Texts: 24994
Incoming Texts: Free
Plan Expiry Date: 2011/07/25

as you can see I started at 10,000 min a month, either it is limited to 10,000 min a month or it does not matter, I won't use that much anyway :)

Thanks alot for the information thread op, I saw this and went and bought it, signed up here to say thank you very much!!!

yeah, it is a pretty good deal for one that gabs a lot. Thanks for educating me that it is not truly unlimited calling, though a little under 7 days straight calling is unlimited enough for most! :) I am glad that it works for you.

If you could, could you do an experiment for us? I want to test out what a local calling area is with Petro-Canada. If you could call some numbers in your area code that is not in your city, or if in Toronto or other areas with overlay, call those and see what happens. Just make sure you do not dial 1 so you do not get charged for long distance. Thank you.
