I need your advice. It's not really about Speakout, but about Good2Go mobile service.
I activated my Speakout phone last year in Ottawa region, and, as many in this area might have done so (because of closure of 711 stores), I switched the service to Good2Go mobile.
My question: Does Good2Go mobile SIM card work with Rogers-locked phones like Blackberry or iPhone? Has anyone tried this? And will the data plan function as well?

Your phone has to be un-locked first in order to use that SIM.
As long as you have data plan .. it should be ok

Is it the case? I have learned that Ztar mobile runs Good2Go mobile just as it runs 711 Speakout and Petro Canada mobile.
Is there anyone with more details?

I have a Good2go sim, but I never activated it yet. When I was talking to a Good2go representative, I was told the Good2go sim will work on locked Rogers phones like Petro Canada and Speak out sims do. I do not have a locked Rogers phone to verify sadly, because I tend to avoid locked phones like the plague unless I can unlock them.
The Data plan is exactly like the plan Speakout and Petro Canada sell. $10 a month for crippled browsing.

i'm thinking about getting Good2Go as i'm here in ottawa, too. can you setup the WAP browsing like you could with the 7-11?
