I checked with 3 different 7-Eleven stores in Vancouver yesterday, and all three ran out of stock on sim cards. I asked one clerk when they expect shipment of new sim cards, and he was not able to provide an answer. One clerk I talked to said they have been out of stock since August? Anyone know when new sim cards will be shipped to the stores?

i sent an email to 7eleven, and this was their reply:

Hello,

Unfortunately our stock of SIM cards has depleted quicker than expected in Vancouver BC.
We are replenishing stores as we speak, and project all stores will have been restocked within the next 2 weeks.

Unfortunately you will need to check with the store to verify when their stock has been replenished.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

You also have the ability to purchase SpeakOut Wireless SIM cards online at https://www.speakout7eleven.ca/prepaid-cellphones/speakout-sim-card

i guess i can wait 2 weeks.
