Buying airtime top-ups online is now an option:

LET'S GET THE WORD OUT!!!!!

Unfortunately, due to regulatory and language requirements they were not able to make ecommerce available to the province of Quebec.

It still is great news though to everyone else, especially those on the East coast, and anyone not close to a 7-Eleven.
