If I get a $25 credit and then add $100 to the account how much will it cost per minute? Is it an average?
Thanks
Matt

The rates are $0.25/minute local calls, and $0.45 for long distance domestic calls.

Everyone is charged .25 a minute for calls – if you buy a $75 or $100 airtime voucher, you will get credit in your SO account for either $93.75 or $125 respectively (i.e. the credit is grossed up by 25% so that in essence you only pay .20 a minute if you buy the $75 or $100 voucher).

So when you do all the math you do get an average rate on this. Right? And all of the minutes roll-over to the latest expiry date too. Right? Cathy M.

Depending on the example given- yes, cost would be an average – i.e. the $25 airtime would result in your local calls for that amount costing .25 (i.e. you get 100 minutes – $25/.25) and your $100 airtime credit which actually gets credited to your acct as $125 costs you .20 for local calls (i.e u get 500 minutes – $125/.25) – so the total of 600 minutes in this examples actually cost you $125 ..so average cost per minute is .2083 cents.
And yes, existing minutes are rolled over for another 365 days when new credit is added to account …..AND you can do your calculation all over again depending on the amount of topup you have purchased
