Could I please confirm here (since it's a very active topic) that both SO and PC sim cards are working on Rogers locked phones? (Nokia)

Do they also work with Fido? (Sony Erricson) If not, how much is to decode them?

Has anyone heard if 7-11 pre-paid will be having another promotions similar to the "buy $100 of airtime to get the free phone" promotion.

Two of my co-workers and I missed out last time around and we're staying on our old cell plans until we can find another deal like this.

Please let me know if you've heard anything!!

I'm so annoyed they don't offer something similiar like this.
I wanted to buy 2 vouchers for myself and somebody else if they would've give a phone free (screw the phone, I JUST NEED THE SIM!)
So at least give a free sim for 100$, the sim costs what, 5$ to create a new one?

Any body know. I have added airtime $50 which i purchased on May 2008. I forgot to add it until June 2. There is no bonus mins. Can I complain? there is no where they said I have to add it by May in order to get the bonus.

Of Course you can complain. Why not? Call up SpeakOut Customer Service, explain the situation, and see what they can do. It would help if you still have the slip with the airtime purchase and date.

I called and they said they cannot put the bonus since I added the airtime in June time and I went back to 7-11 and there were no where said I have to add the money by May. Is there anybody have Roger Barratt email so I can complain. I call 611 and they cannot help

SO doesn't have a website stating exactly what the promotion was.
According to one of the posters here, the promotion seems to be bonus air time for anyone topping up $50 during the month of May, using a slip bought in May or earlier (as long as still valid).

Call back, talk to another customer service rep. If that doesn't work, ask to speak to their supervisor. And continue up the chain. Sooner or later either you will give up or they will.
