I'm on the look out too.
Just bought two 1600's on the June promo, one for my mother in law the other for my partner.
But I'm a bit more of a gear head and would like to switch from Fido to SO but my Sony Ericsson is a lot better quality cell than the Nokia 1600. Maybe the promo will be for one of the better Nokias…..fingers crossed.

If you can unlock your Sony Ericsson, then you can get any SO Nokia and keep it as an extra, in case something happens to your SE or your partner's or mother's Nokias.
(I mean, come on, something ALWAYS happens to a cellphone sooner or later!)
