-$5 phone credit
-$25 promo credit

What's $10 promo ref credit? I didn't get that. I only have $130 worth of air-time. :frown:

It's the referral bonus:

How come I was given a 613 number while I'm in GTA?(I believe it's an Ottawa number). I phoned home and it showed "long distance call":frown:

Anyone else having the same problem. (I hope it's only me so it's just a 7-11 error  )

Your phone bought in the GTA might have been shipped in from Ottawa. That would be my guess. Since the Ottawa 7-Eleven stores are gone, or going, they had to ship the product elsewhere. I would call SpeakOut customer service asap to get it straightened out.

If you want to discuss that, please keep that phone specific question to the "Phone Features" forum.

Thanks

Ok, thanks for clarifying :)

If you have a Toronto number now, you can switch it to a Saskatchewan number when you move there. No, there isn't a fee for changing your number (if you move across the country).

Anyone else have this problem?

I went into a 7/11 in a not-so-great area of town last night. I asked to see the 1661. He handed it to me, I went to open the box and he grabbed it back and said I couldn't do that. I asked why. He said that people steal things out of the boxes (he was 30-ish, not a kid. I'm a grey-haired, middle aged, OK-dressed woman). So I then asked if he could open it so I could at least make sure the phone was inside. He said he couldn't (no one else in the store).

So I left. I'll find another store. But this is a bit over-the-top, no?

I have visited several 711 stores in mississauga with the hope of getting the promotional deal "Buy a $100 voucher, get a phone for free". Was a waste of my time since none of the store operators are aware of any such promotion.! The store operators should be made aware of this promotion first before it isadvertised to the public!

If I am store owner I would do the same. I don't like people opening packages and not buying. This is not touch, feel the goods, see the colours etc and then don't buy anything item.

Buy it or dont. Buy it open the package there and check and you have 15 days to complain.

Which store did you visit? I bought the $100 airtime and the 2760 at Battleford and Erinmills Pkwy on the first day of the promotion. The store operator was very well aware of the promo.

If you buy $100 time you get phone for free. So what is this "Refund of the phone" Means?
You think if you return phone then you will get $59 refund from the store? Explain
If that is the case then its cheapness at best.

I was stuck in traffic near Don Mills/Overlea for long time. Some curb repairs
There I saw a huge banner at the entrance of 7-11 store about Free Phone Promo.
So yes Stores are aware of this promo.

Does anyone know if any 7Eleven store in Toronto area has Nokia 1208 available for sale? I like its rubbery keypad better than 1661 plastic one. But it looks like 1208 is almost impossible to find.

I purchased the $100 airtime, free phone, and $25 airtime offer. When the cashier handed me the receipt she claimed that the $25 bonus is on the phone. I understood this to mean that it is with the SIM card. is this true? Is the $25 bonus part of the $100 airtime voucher?
