An interesting aside on the bonus $25 with a $100 top up. In the discussion over at RedFlagDeals it was stated that it works even if you bought the $100 voucher months previously during a non-bonus period (as long as you apply the voucher during a bonus period). Can anyone verify this?

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but it did not seem to fit under any existing category, AND it is relevant to taking advantage of speakout deals. I attempted to top up my phone to prevent the balance from expiring tomorrow, and when I got to the final step after entering all the info (some info had to be entered two or more times because speakout like to make you work), pressing the SUBMIT button nothing happened. I used a landline phone (waiting at 25 cents a minute for speakout service would be masochistic) and the CSR was unable to help, his bottom line suggestion was to use another browser. So while everything else at the speakout web site works with Firefox 50, payment does not. Incidentally, I do use NoScript, but speakout7eleven.ca was whitelisted. The CSR was unable to tell me if any scripts are required to be passed through. For example, eigendev.com, he didn't have anything to say about that.
Fwiw, top up worked a few minutes later using the Vivaldi browser.

I missed the promotion period at the end of 2016. I usually jump on it but I didn't realise how low my balance was. Had I known or had Speakout sent me a "low balance" warning, I would have snagged it.
Anyway, how often do the big promotions happen? Is it just twice a year?

I was in the local 7-11 today and noticed that there's an offer for a $15 Gift Card for the Google Play store included with the current $20 discount on any phone with a $50 (or higher) voucher.
